Planet 9 Film Festival is an independent festival that features unique & interesting films made by people from all over the world. The festival focuses on themes of originality, sci-fi, horror, experimental & consciousness. The festival was created by indie filmmakers as a means to build community & connection among lesser known indie/DIY filmmakers. It is for the Under-the Underground.Prizes range from gift certificates, trick-or-treat bags, to selected filmmaker interviews that will be on DEATH CAT TV, as well as our Castle Cat Horror Potcat(podcast).
There's also costume contests & we're having a "Create a Monster" this year where artists collaborate to build pieces of a monster each film block, creating a life size piece by the end of the night.

count cat has sent his sinister easter bunny to hide easter eggs with special tricks & treats around the metro-detroit area this spring!
players will receive clues on where to find these eggs, which lead to other clues as well as prizes such as gift certificates, music & movie downloads & more!
contestants are encouraged to film or take photos of their hunt to incorporate it into the next planet 9 movie or promo!
